The QS-Mini Premium Pole With the QS-mini Ambient Recording extended Ambient Recording's premium line to a shorter form factor. Of course it is also handmade layer by layer out of Pre-preg carbon and glass fiber like its bigger brother. This is an extremely time-consuming way of production but it gives us the possibility to design the tube characteristics Ambient Recording desire. Ambient Recording's aim was to have the same smooth feeling of ultimate control and perfect balance of the QS boom on an 11.5 feet, 26 oz. pole. Beside the tubes Ambient Recording of course adopted the improved screwlock design from the QS for better grip when working with gloves. The result Ambient Recording achieved is nothing less than the stiffest, most precise 11.5 feet boom on the market that can truly be called a real QS pole. The modular extension QP 120 can quickly be added as a 5th segment and gives an extra boost in length for wide, large crowd shots without the weight when not in use.With an outer diameter of 35 mm the extension will also fit into a standard Manfrotto pivot clamp allowing stand mounted.
