Peavey STI Stereo Direct Box with 1/8" Input

  • Rs. 69.99

The Stereo Interface box is designed to connect the stereo headphone output of devices like computers, CD players, MP3 player etc. to a mix console. The dual transformers in the STI allow true stereo interface and can provide full ground isolation. The XLR outputs are padded for connection to mix console microphone inputs for convenient operation from a stage. The volume control on the STI adjusts the XLR output volume making it particularly useful for rehearsal or situations without a sound system operator.

The STI also has ¼” line output jacks for connection to stereo mixer inputs when the source is located near the mix console. Although the TRS line output jacks can provide a full balanced output, standard TS (mono) plugs can be used for unbalanced operation. The ground lift switch is a must to prevent hum and buzz when connecting computers to a sound system. Although the
STI has full stereo input and output capability, the XLR outputs can be summed mono, combining the left and right inputs without the loss of bass or added distortion you can get with a simple “Y” cord.
