The Control and Power Supply Unit (CPSU) is the heart of a discussion system. This versatile unit incorporates a digital acoustic feedback suppression facility, which allows any acoustic feedback (also known as “howling”) to be automatically eliminated. Other included features are: managing the number of active microphones and determining the operating mode, without the need for a central operator. External equipment can be connected to extend system possibilities. A built-in loudspeaker allows the conference to be monitored (to allow a stenographer, for example, to take notes on the conference).
