Gefen EXT-RMT-2X2 RMT4 2 Button Wired Remote for Gefen Models

The EXT-RMT-2X2 cabled remote control lets you select and control two A/V sources and outputs on a 2x2 Matrix Switcher unit. The Remote uses widely available CAT5/CAT6 network cable to achieve control at distances of up to 1000 feet away from the Switcher.Locate the Switcher in a convenient place next to the source units. Decide on the remote location that you will operate the the Switch from, then obtain and connect an appropriate length of shielded CAT5/CAT6 cable between the Switch and the EXT-RMT-2X2. At the remote location, use the two buttons on the front panel of the Remote to select which computer or A/V sources to view/control.
