Rycote 080205 Stereo Windshield Kit - WS Kit AF Single Shank

The Stereo Windshield WS AF Single Shank Kit is suitable for single shank microphones 30mm in diameter and up to 190mm in length. Utilising Rycote's patented Lyre suspension technology, these virtually indestructible webs provide outstanding shock and handling isolation. The Universal Back-to-Back clips accommodate microphones from 19 to 25mm in diameter making it easy to combine different size microphones for mid-side technique. The Stereo Windshield is a lightweight, durable basket made from flexible grey plastic netting with a screening material attached. Designed for use with the various suspensions, this system provides excellent wind-noise reduction of up to 30dB with minimal High-Frequency loss. A Stereo Windshield Kit is comprised of the following three main components: Suspension, Windshield and Windjammer.

The windshield body length is calculated by adding microphone length plus XLR (5 cm or 2”) of the LONGEST microphone, in the M/S pair. The suspension is determined by the diameter of the microphones. Any combination of the following can be made: 19 mm, 21 mm, 25 mm Round & 25 mm Square (for example for the MKH 416 / MKH 30 the clips are 19 / 2 5Rd & 19 / 25 Sq)
