Rycote 080206 Stereo Windshield Kit - WS Kit AG Single Shank

Suitable for single shank microphones 30mm in diameter and up to 250mm in length. This complete modular system can be configured to allow almost any stereo pairs, single shank stereo microphones, and stereo capsule microphones to be shock-mounted and provided with varying degrees of windshielding. Components may be ordered separately, or as one of a series of kits, which simplify the selection process for many common configurations. Benefiting from the patented Lyre technology already in use with all the mono suspensions, the new stereo suspensions present an array of advantages over the previous "hoop & band" suspensions. They are more robust, easier to set up, less prone to shock-vibrations, lighter, and more versatile. The Universal Back-to-Back clips are designed to accommodate any microphone from 19 to 25mm in diameter and therefore make it easier to determine the right set-up for a particular Stereo Pair of microphones. A Modular Windshield Kit is comprised of the following three main components: Modular Suspension, Modular Windshield and Windjammer. For the majority of the kits the Connbox is NOT included.

The windshield body length is calculated by adding microphone length plus XLR (5 cm or 2”) of the LONGEST microphone, in the M/S pair. The suspension is determined by the diameter of the microphones. Any combination of the following can be made: 19 mm, 21 mm, 25 mm Round & 25 mm Square (for example for the MKH 416 / MKH 30 the clips are 19 / 2 5Rd & 19 / 25 Sq)
